So far in the entirety of its existence and ive had it from the start I have never ever discovered what it does, except take a whole long time to load and come up with a preety little screen of a nice village next to water, now i believe its for testing stuff and you might have to enter something in its start options like in the actual mapmaking one


The above comment is for SDK base however if you would like to know what SDK is its the actual program you download to make maps but for it to works you have to go into properties and type in ermmm: -engine EP1 copy it exactly as it is!!! Then you enter it and you shud get a menu suggesting bunch of stuff choose your game at the bottom and select hammer, then you should get a 4 way split screen, each one a different camera view onto the map your making

I was gonna go to give you a link to a youtube tutorial thingy, but guy who i watched for tutorial got suspended so i suggest you go to youtube and type in Hammer SDk Tutorial or Hammer tutorial
